PRODUCT DETAIL
Crafted from high-carbon steel (82B) and cast aluminum (ADC12), these torsion springs offer excellent performance and reliability; They’re built to enhance your garage door system, providing strength and endurance for long-term use.
All garage door springs are color-coded according to standards. Our galvanized springs are engineer tested and perform at an equal performance level. These high-quality springs ensure superior performance, lasting durability, and easy installation. We also stock a wide variety of coned springs and spring snakes for fast delivery.
DIFFERENT SURFACE TREATMENTS
garage door springs surface
Oil Tempered Surface
The surface is painted with oil toeffectively prevent oxidation and rust.Affordable price and long service life.
Electrophoresis Coat Surface
Our black electrophoresis coating ensures a smoother, cleaner operation while providing corrosion resistance and extending lifespan.
Galvanized Surface
Galvanized springs have high corrosionresistance and their service life can begreatly extended.
Powder Coated Surface
You can choose any color you like for thecoated spring, such as red, orange, bluewhite, black, etc. And it is not easy to fade.

High Cycle Life
Crafted from high-carbon steel (82B) and cast aluminum (ADC12), these torsion springs boast excellent fatigue resistance; passes salt spray tests up to 350 hours and a minimum of 16,000 "standard-cycles" and 25,000 "high-cycle".
Stenciling
Spring dimensions and winding stripes are stenciled on all galvanized and coated oil-tempered coned springs, up to a max of 50”, and custom stenciling is available upon request.
Long Service Life
It will not rust, weaken or corrode inharsh environments such as extremetemperature changes and humidity.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How to measure a residential garage door torsion spring?
Capture four specifications for each replacement residential garage door torsion spring:
Wire Diameter — Measure the total length of 20 coils; wire size ≈ (20-coil length) ÷ 20.
Example: 4.375" ÷ 20 = 0.21875" (measure 40 coils for even higher accuracy).
Inside Diameter (ID) — Residential IDs are typically 2" or 1.75". The ID must match the winding cone, shaft, and drum system.
Spring Length (net, excluding cones) — Affects torque and cycle life.
Wind Direction — Looking at the spring end: tail pointing right = right-wind (RW); left = left-wind (LW). Springs are usually supplied as matched pairs (LW + RW).
What sizes sell fastest in residential bulk programs (wire sizes, ID, wind mix)?
Inside Diameter: For garage door torsion springs, 2" ID covers roughly 70–80% of residential demand; 1.75" ID serves older doors or specific models.
High-turn wire sizes: 0.207", 0.21875", 0.225", 0.234", 0.243", 0.250".
Wind mix: Plan for Left-Wind : Right-Wind ≈ 1 : 1 and sell as pairs to simplify ordering and service.
Length & life: Stock multiple lengths across 16k/20k/28k+ to cover most door weights and residential lift types (standard, low-headroom, high-lift).
Oil-tempered vs galvanized vs powder-coated torsion springs: what should wholesalers stock?
Oil-tempered garage door springs: Stable tension, strong fatigue resistance, best value; ideal as your high-volume residential line.
Galvanized garage door springs: Brighter, smoother surface with enhanced corrosion resistance; recommended for humid/coastal markets or customers who want a cleaner look over time.
Powder-coated garage door springs : Added surface protection with uniform aesthetics; also useful for color-coding winds or wire sizes.
Stocking strategy: Lead with oil-tempered for core demand; add galvanized for coastal/premium preferences; use powder-coated for branding, visual consistency, and easy identification.
What packaging, labeling, and safety practices are recommended for B2B shipments of torsion spring pairs?
Pair-Pack: Ship LW/RW as a clearly marked pair with end-protectors and abrasion guards. Residential garage door torsion spring cones can be pre-installed or bagged separately.
Spec Labeling: Print Wire × ID × Length × Cycle × Wind on each unit; add lot/QR codes for warehouse control and after-sales traceability.
Color-Coding: Use coating or sleeves to differentiate winds and wire sizes—reduces field errors.
Docs & Safety: Include a concise installation & safety card. Emphasize that torsion springs are high-tension components and must be installed/adjusted by trained professionals using winding bars.
Palletization & Lead Time: Offer mixed or single-spec pallets; keep quick-ship stock for fast-moving garage door torsion spring sizes and build-to-order for specials.
